On Friday September 28 2012, Ecole Connaught Community School of Regina celebrated its 100th birthday. To mark this special occasion local artist Debbie Wozniak-Bonk presented the school with a beautiful acrylic painting. It was unveiled during the centennial celebration which included all of the students, staff and past alumni. It measures 24” x 36” and depicts a present day front view of the school surrounded by trees. Her intent was to create a permanent piece of artwork which will remain with the school regardless of a renovation or a rebuild. Debbie is actively involved in the school and her two young children are students.
The painting is presently on display in the school by the main office for everyone to enjoy.
