Sheila Kernan’s piece "When I Close My Eyes" was officially unveiled Saturday, January 26th on the side of the Bear Street Mall in Banff, Alberta.
The image was blown up and reproduced on a weather resistant surface so it would last the five years it is going to be overlooking Bear Street.
“It’s my first public art and definitely the largest piece. The scale is fantastic,” Kernan said looking at the massive artwork, which is a representation of Johnston Canyon. “It’s unbelievable. It doesn’t feel real.”
