W.H. Webb Biography


W.H.(Bill) Webb is a well-known Alberta landscape artist. Originally an art teacher who pursued a career in educational administration, he changed careers in 1990 when he had reached the zenith of his calling as an educator, holding the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Wainwright School Division. This bold move was prompted by his family and friends' strong belief in his artistic abilities.

Bill was honoured by having one of his paintings accepted into the Official State Collection of Canada. This painting currently hangs in Rideau Hall in Ottawa, Ontario.
